Ahmad Sahroni Kembali Jabat Wakil Ketua Komisi III DPR Usai Sanksi Disiplin

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Legislator Ahmad Sahroni has officially returned to his leadership position as Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives (DPR) Commission III on Thursday (19/2/2026), following the completion of a six-month disciplinary suspension.

The reinstatement ceremony, presided over by House Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, followed a formal request from the NasDem Party faction to restore Sahroni to his original post overseeing legal affairs. Sahroni’s return replaced Rusdi Masse Mappasessu, who had temporarily filled the role during the sanction period.

"I thank the Ethics Council for their proceedings, and I hope to perform better moving forward," Sahroni said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The legislator was previously stripped of his leadership duties in August 2025 by both his party and the House Ethics Council (MKD) following controversial public remarks deemed injurious to the public interest.

After serving the designated non-active period, which included a temporary reassignment to Commission I, his full status was restored..
